Users should immediately install security patches 7.0u3c, 6.7u4c, 6.5u3h, 6.0u4h, or 5.5u5h.
Secure vCenter Server using strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Make vCenter Server accessible only from the required computers.
Update vCenter Server regularly.
VMware said it is notifying all customers affected by this vulnerability.
